Hi, I'm Shelley - a passionate hunter and gatherer of shiny pieces of the past.

I have always had a love for all things old - from vintage clothing, to antique books, and movies from Hollywood's golden age. So it was only natural that in time I also developed a love for gems and jewels of yesteryear. Where others may see an item that is 'used', I see something that has a story to tell. Who owned this piece? Who loved it? And who did they love? The history, quality and character inherent in antique jewels is something that just isn't found in modern pieces.

After many years working as a dietitian and health scientist, I decided on a career change to fit with my family needs and personal interests.

My knowledge of antique jewellery has been gained from years of reading and research on historical jewels, as well as completing short courses in gemmology and antique jewellery with the Gemmological Association of Australia.
