A stunning antique double-sided slide mirror locket in silver, dating to the Art Nouveau era (1895-1910). This generously proportioned locket depicts lilies of the valley to both sides designed in relief, and a ribbon motif with whiplash curves characteristic of the Art Nouveau movement. The locket slides open to reveal two internally mounted mirrors in pristine condition. A beautifully executed piece, with both style and function.
Swedish hallmarks are present on the jump ring; the rest of the stamp is illegible.

Measurements (approximate): 62mm x 38mm (not including jump ring).
Condition: Good, with wear commensurate with age. There is a subtle dent to one side of the locket near the uppermost blossoms. There appears to have previously have been a catch at the bottom of the locket which is missing. The internal mirrors and frames are all present and in excellent condition.
