
A luxurious antique rivière necklace dating to the Edwardian era (1901-1915). Set with 35 citrines, round-cut and graduating in size, every movement produces play of light within the gems and accentuates their butterscotch hue. The stones are held in open-backed in prong settings to best show off their colour and shine. Fashioned in 9ct yellow gold throughout and with its original tube clasp, this incredible piece is a 'holy grail' find for antique jewellery lovers.

Measurements (approximate): Necklace measures 41cm (16.1") in length. Citrines range in size from 11mm to 7mm in diameter, and total carat weight is estimated as over 50 carats.
Condition: Excellent, with minimal wear commensurate with age. The gems have almost no wear to speak of - close inspection reveals small scratches to two stones, while the rest are pristine, with no abrasion, well-matched hue of medium saturation, and excellent clarity.
