A stunning antique pomander pendant crafted in 9ct yellow gold, with an openwork design featuring floral motifs. A hinge at the bale allows the pendant to open into two halves, and traditionally, a cotton ball was doused in fragrance and placed inside to enshroud the wearer in its perfume (original cotton ball included). A rare and covetable antique piece for the discerning collector.
The bale is stamped '9ct' for 9ct gold.

Measurements (approximate): Pendant measures 15mm in diameter. Drop is 23mm including bale.
Condition: Excellent, with minimal wear commensurate with age. No dents or dings. Opens and closes securely. There are very light marks and general wear to the gold. Please see pictures for details and don't hesitate to ask questions.
