An exquisite antique brooch in the form of a bejewelled sword. Symbolically, swords have two meanings in antique jewellery: they signify honor, and they bestow protection upon the wearer.
This sword brooch dates to around the turn-of-the-century, and is crafted in 15ct yellow gold. The hilt and tip of the sword are set with creamy and lustrous seed pearls. It is perfect for wear as a lapel pin, or anywhere else you decide. It has a safety chain attached and comes with its original box.
No stamps are present, but the gold tests as 15ct to the body of the sword, 9ct to the pin.
Weight (approximate): 6.5g
