A rare and highly sort after antique guard chain from the Victorian era (1837-1901). Crafted in 15 carat yellow gold, it features fine rope links with a charm holder at its mid-point. Measuring in at 57 inches (145cm), it is very long and can be wrapped up to three times around the neck. A beautiful and elegant long guard chain that is a timeless wardrobe staple.
The chain is stamped for 15ct gold the terminal jump ring. The stamps to the charm holder are illegible, but appear to be for 9ct gold.
