An eye-catching antique enamel locket in 9ct yellow gold (back and front), most likely dating to the late-Victorian era (1837-1901). The front of the locket is adorned with seafoam green enamel in a geometric pattern, while the back is engraved with ivy, symbolic of loyalty and devotion. The fittings and jump ring are base metal (probably brass).
No stamps are present but the gold tests as a minimum of 9ct.
Weight (approximate): 5.8g
Measurements (approximate): 25mm x 20mm (not including bale).
Condition: Good, with wear commensurate with age. There are minor losses to the enamel. The gold and metal have light marks and general wear. There are a few small solder marks to the frame. Please see pictures for details and don't hesitate to ask questions.
