A stunning antique oval-shaped monogram locket in silver with a later belcher link chain, dating to around the turn of the century. The front of the locket features applique initials reading 'SC' or 'CS'. Inside the locket you can find a compartment with a frame and glazing to one side containing a lock of hair (can be removed). A lovely, sentimental piece, especially for those for whom the monogrammed initials have meaning.
Chain is stamped with the lion passant for sterling silver.

Measurements (approximate): Locket measures 33mm x 45mm (not including bale). Chain is 70cm (27.5”) in length.
Condition: Very good, with wear commensurate with age. The locket has one small dent to the rear at the bottom edge. The metal has some light marks and general wear. The hinge and spring ring both function well. Please see pictures for details and don't hesitate to ask questions.
