This exceptional long guard chain from the Victorian era (1837-1901) is perfect for the budget conscious antique lover. It is made from pinchbeck - an alloy of copper and zinc with a deceptively golden hue. With a curb link design and measuring in at a generous 57.5 inches (146cm) in length, this chain is perfect for layering (it can be looped up to three times around the neck). It also has a lobster claw clasp from which you can hang charms or trinkets, and a floating fob with an adorable padlock and a rosy coloured tassel.
