An eye catching vintage 1950s era Scandinavian dome ring. The ring is set with a large cabochon cut amethyst, glossy and bright with swirling purple hues. The gem is held in an 18ct yellow gold setting, simple in design with fluid lines. This stunning ring is a real statement piece that embodies mid-century glamour.

Measurements (approximate): Stone measures 13.5mm x 10mm x 4.5mm; approximately 4.35 carat weight. Band measures 12mm at widest point, tapering to 3mm.
Condition: Good, with wear commensurate with age. The gem has a large natural fan-like inclusion, and is in good condition with no chips and very light abrasion visible when viewed under magnification. The gold has general wear, and a dent to one shoulder where it meets the shank. Please see pictures for details and don't hesitate to ask questions.
